This scarlet couture gown is built on a sheer illusion base worked entirely by hand: rows of ruby beads rain from the bust down to the hem, while silver marquise crystals trace the plunging V neckline, the corset seams and the centre line of the skirt. Sculpted shoulders and long sheer sleeves carry the same ruby and crystal embroidery, and the fitted silhouette falls straight to the floor. Over it all layers a full red marabou feather cape that opens from the shoulders and sweeps into a dramatic floor-length train.
